![]() ![]() For Football / soccer you have to anticipate where the action takes place. Good thing, because I'm taking mine to its first college soccer match on friday :) I'm in the college newspaper class so it'll be in the paper. Sounds like the answer for people like me who were wondering- is the multiple focus points screwed up the focus. If you view my photstream you can see the original version without the focus and exposure overlays. ![]() I'm not thrilled that this shot, and several others that I didn't upload weren't in focus. I've gotten some good feedback in the 40D group. You weren't thrilled with the results? Can you be a little less vague? How were you not thrilled with the results? Focus speed? Sharpness? Thanks in advance for any advice you may have. ![]() I'm not sure if that would make a difference or not. One thing I forgot to do was use center point only for focusing. In my case I was shooting aperature priority f/4, ISO 100, AI Servo and H drive mode. I won't cross post the thread I started in the 40D group since that was the camera body I was using but I'd be curious to know what settings you use. Does anyone here shoot sports with their lens? I did some shots at a soccer match this past weekend and I wasn't thrilled with the results.
